Hemodynamic Disorders — General Pathology

General Pathology · Basic Sciences

How it begins

Hemodynamic disorders are alterations in the volume, distribution, or flow of blood and body fluids that compromise tissue perfusion and oxygen delivery to the tissues. They constitute the pathophysiological basis of some of the most prevalent and lethal diseases in medicine: myocardial infarction, stroke, pulmonary thromboembolism, septic shock and liver cirrhosis.
